Wedge Wire Screen Cylinder for Screening and Filtration

We customized a wedge wire screen cylinder for a U.S. supplier of building and decorative materials. The screen cylinder was configured around the required slot opening, diameter, overall length, surface profile, support structure and end design. Depending on equipment requirements, wedge wire cylinders can be manufactured with welded end rings or flanges and in different diameters and lengths.

Its welded wedge wire construction provides a strong and durable screening surface with controlled slot openings. The inward-opening slot geometry also helps reduce clogging and supports efficient liquid passage, while the rigid cylindrical structure allows the screen to be incorporated into static or rotating equipment.

For this project, dimensional accuracy and structural configuration were the main considerations. The finished wedge wire screen cylinder was produced according to the confirmed requirements and prepared for installation in the customer's equipment.
