Curved Wedge Wire Screen for Liquid-Solid Separation

An Argentine company specializing in dairy and food processing equipment required a custom sieve bend screen for one of its equipment projects. As an equipment manufacturer and technical service provider, the customer supplied the required dimensions and structural details for production.

The screen was developed according to the confirmed material, slot opening, screen width, arc length, curved angle and frame configuration. These parameters were reviewed to ensure that the finished screen could be correctly integrated into the customer's equipment.

A sieve bend screen uses a curved wedge wire surface with continuous slots. As liquid and solids flow across the curved surface, the profile wires provide controlled separation while the inwardly widening slot structure helps reduce clogging. The product can be manufactured with different arc angles, slot openings, materials and frame types to suit equipment and processing requirements.

For this order, particular attention was given to the curved screen profile, slot consistency, overall dimensions and frame connection details. The completed sieve bend screen provided the customer with a customized screening component for its dairy and food processing equipment project.
